Making The Transition From Part Time at Home to Full Time at Home

I often read articles, blog and bulletin board messages from those hoping to make the transition from a part time at home full time at home.

Determining how much income you need this transition can be a bit tricky.

If you currently earn $ 30000 a year, then you know that you'll need to bring in at least $ 30000 for the change. But if your job offers each type of these benefits should also be figured in your calculations.

For example, does your work give you a medical insurance? If so, what will it cost you in the place of that insurance once your job?

Is your job to provide sick time and vacation time? If you currently receive 21 days per year between the sick time and vacation time, then you should consider that income you'll lose if you and your family a trip or if you need to have a day off due to you or a sick child.

Is your job to provide any form of retirement benefits? Calculate how these benefits.

There are also costs you ll save by working at home. Often from office lunches are anywhere from once a week to five times per week. If you pay for these lunches from their own pockets, then you ll savings when you begin to eat lunches at home.

Are you pay for dry clean clothes your work? Again, you ll see a savings when you are at home in the sweat of blue jeans.

How far are you at work? Figure in the wear and tear on the car, along with gas prices. I know that some people who, for 2 or 3 tanks of gas in their car each week. Where I live, that may be of more than $ 100 per week just in gas.

Sometimes people make the decision from full time to work part-time work, then full time at home. It can be a much smoother transition. You might even find a balance between a part of the time work and part time at home that you really feel comfortable with.

Often in a company your income will increase each year, so the establishment of a long-term objective, for example, 5 years to your full-time job is a very realistic goal in my opinion.

know exactly what you ll need to bring, can help you decide when you'll be able to make that transition from a part time at home full time at home.
