A vision board is a collage of photos and images that represent what you want in your life.
Most people use the billboard to create their vision boards. The number of items you want on your board will determine the size of the billboard you need.
One of my favorite vision of advice for those in network marketing is to take the magazine of your business and reduce the pages of these people the company is grateful. Now add your photo to this page.
If your company creates a list of names of performers, add your name to this list. These items must be near your work area. Your vision board should be on the wall behind your work area so that you are constantly reminded of where you want your photo and your name.
Is there a trip you’d like to take? Perhaps you’d like to visit a state or country you’ve never been to before. Get some photos and maps of the area and put them on your vision board. Perhaps you’d like to visit family you’ve not seen for a while. Get photos of them and add those photos to your vision board.
What does your car look like? Is there a different car you’d rather drive? Get a photo of that car on your vision board. Better yet, visit the local dealer and get a photo of you right next to that car. Tell the dealer you are working on a business and you are working toward buying the car and you’d like the photo. Those I know who have done this, have never been turned down for the photo.
What about your home? What would you like to be different? Get photos of what you want on your vision board.
Do you have favorite quotes? I know one girl whose entire vision board is filled with meaningful quotes. Those quotes help her to be the person she wants to be. If you have favorite quotes, type them out, get them in color and attach them to your vision board.
Are there people that you really admire? Get some photos of these people and add them to your vision board.
Vision boards can be very powerful in reminding you daily what is it you want and who it is you want to be.

Many empty, misleading promises are often made about online business opportunities including phrases and terminology such as;

• Killer system…
• Promise to put $$$$... into your pocket within hours, days, weeks….
• Anyone can do this…
• Very little effort i.e. 5, 10 … minutes a day, week, month, ….
• Nothing like it out there…
• Free (Never mentioning all the add-ons that one needs to purchase)
• No questions asked money back guarantee…
to name but a few. Apart from this, many advertisers often promise a hand held, step-by-step online business system, which almost never meets such expectations in the true sense of the word. To top it all, one is typically bombarded with the "what to do", whilst the "How to do it" is conveniently left out of the equation.
Furthermore, as it is said, the devil lies in the detail, or should we say the fine print. In defense of some website owners, it is true to say that we live in a very legalistic society and that there are always people who will abuse systems and/or policies and that one needs to provide for such circumstances. However, most website owners are legally completely indemnified in the "very fine print" Terms and Conditions on their websites from being held responsible or accountable for any success claims made on their website. This raises the question as to why someone would need to include such terms if they truly had the confidence in their online business opportunity as expressed on the selling pages of their website.
It is not all bad though. Although one cannot ever be 100% certain that a particular online business opportunity would deliver exactly what it promises, there are a few useful checks that can be done to tip the odds moderately in one's favor. If you are looking at engaging in online business, it is strongly suggested that you consider the following:
• Contact the Advertiser
Enquire as to whether the advertiser is contactable, i.e. telephone, email, mail etc., and make use of these contact methods to verify that the person actually exists. This conversation will give you an idea of whether you will be receiving after sales support in setting up your online business, if and when necessary.
• Ask questions about the

MLM Training - How To Debunk the Pyramid Myth
You’re pitching your business to an interested prospect and everything is going great until they ask the dreaded question, “Is this a pyramid scheme?” You may get confused and not know how to handle this question. Doing a simple comparison of what MLM REALLY is as compared to a pyramid allows a clear-cut picture of what the MLM industry is all about. Study this article and keep it handy as reference material to help you in debunking the pyramid myth.
You’re not in the MLM industry very long before you hear the phrase, “That’s one of those pyramids!” or the question, “Is this one of those pyramids?”
The “pyramid” objection comes up because people have no knowledge, incomplete knowledge or wrong knowledge about MLM and pyramids. Please notice that I wrote “pyramid” there. In other words, a person could think MLM is a pyramid because they DON’T KNOW WHAT A PYRAMID IS.
When my son was young I would point out a car and say the word, “car.” He soon picked it up and would point to a car and say, “car.” Then, he pointed to a bus and said, “Car.” I said “No, bus.” He didn’t believe me. Why? Because he had already determined that anything that moved on four wheels was a car! Have you had prospects who have already determined that MLM is a pyramid?
To solve this, I found a bus and a car that were parked side by side and pointed out those features that make them different from each other and those features that make them alike. Only then could my son determine if what he was looking at was a car or a bus.
Similarly, YOU must be knowledgeable about what a pyramid is, so you can point out the differences between a pyramid and MLM (network marketing) for your prospect.
Pyramid
The word pyramid has simply come to mean a business that seems like a scam.
Scam
A fraudulent business scheme. Fraudulent comes from the Latin word fraud, which means deceit. Deceiving someone means to trick them.
FACT: There is no activity (stock trading, charities, law firms, medical doctors, religion, MLM, government, etc.) that does not have a history of fraudulent activities.
In looking at scams, it is important to locate the actual source that is creating the scam; there is ALWAYS at least ONE person.

One that causes, creates, or initiates; a maker.
If a person kills someone with a rock - don’t blame the rock! The rock isn’t the source and didn’t kill the person. A person with bad intentions is the source and USED a rock to do damage.
If a scammer uses telemarketing to seduce its victims into a scam - don’t blame the telephone. The scammer [a person] is the source and USED a telephone to deploy his scam.
If a scammer [a person] uses MLM to deploy his scam - don’t blame MLM.
An industry can’t be a scam as it’s not capable of tricking people.
People are the only ones capable of tricking someone.
MLM is not the culprit in pyramids; the culprit is the unethical activities of a person or group.
The reason scams sometimes use MLM is because it’s a powerful way to distribute anything.
Illegal Pyramid Scheme
An illegal business that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme, usually without any product or service being delivered.
Sometimes there may appear to be a product. but it’s only there to “look” like a real business. Few people outside of the pyramid desire the product, or they can get the same product elsewhere at a less expensive price.
If you enrolled me into your business and I paid $300 to join BUT THERE WAS NO VALUABLE PRODUCT THAT WAS EXCHANGED, that could be an illegal pyramid.
This does not mean that MLM is an illegal pyramid because people enroll others into a business. The fine line between legal MLM and illegal pyramid scheme (according to the Federal Trade Commission -FTC) is the exchange of a real product.
Yet, if you enrolled me and I bought $300 worth of products to see if I want to do the business, then that is NOT an illegal pyramid as long as the product is a “real” product and not some gimmicky product. Most legitimate MLM companies give a thirty-day 100% refund on products if you don’t like them. And if you buy inventory to sell and then change your mind about the business, most legitimate MLM companies will give you back 90% of the purchased price.
So the primary difference between an illegal pyramid and a legitimate MLM company is that a pyramid does not have a “real” product. A legitimate MLM company has a real product that people outside of the business desire. Another difference that the Federal Trade Commission(FTC) looks for in determining if a company is a pyramid, is how the business is conducted. If there is a lot of hype (saying someone can make a lot of money with little or no work) or the emphasis is entirely on getting new recruits instead of a balance between getting customers and getting new recruits, then it could be a pyramid.
Putting pyramids into perspective
Sometimes I like to point out that there is a lot of negative emphasis put on illegal pyramids, but if you put it into perspective with other industries, it allows the prospect (or distributors) to also see the undue emphasis. How I put pyramids into perspective is by pointing out the losses caused by pyramids, versus losses caused by other activities. Take a look at the following statistics that show where people lost money in the year 2000:
Pyramids: $54,000,000 Lottery: $42,090,312,000 Gambling: $1,100,000,000,000 Stocks: $9,300,000,000,000
As you can tell, compared to other activities, pyramids do not cause a lot of financial loss. Don’t misunderstand my comment on pyramids, I dislike them a lot; I want them eliminated. But there’s undue emphasis put on them compared to where people lose the most money.

3 Basic Things You Need to Earn Residual Income Online
Everyone who gets into internet marketing thinks that it can be a business that can make them rich overnight or not in a few months time. It is sad to say that "THIS IS NOT TRUE". You need to treat this business as any real business you do offline. Therefore there are some basic things that you must prepare before getting thinking of making money in this business.
1) Identify a way to drive traffic: Driving traffic to your website should be your first priority in this online business as it is through this traffic that you drive to your site that create sales for you. 3) Create a series of good autoresponding emails: The only way to make your leads hit the BUY button is to have a series of good emails written to educate them in this business and promote them those stuff you think will be helpful to them.
With all these three things done, you can then focus on traffic generation as the rest is already taken care of. Note that you need to have at least three products selected to be promoted through your emails to get started. You can then add in products as you go along.
When I started this business, I have problems doing these three things and I did not even get a single sales for a few months until I stumbled onto a website that have all these three things done for me professionally and since then I have never looked back.

Marketing is the part of business that no one seems to like. Perhaps that's because it's confusing and made to be even more confusing when you begin to read books on marketing and its applications to the business world. So, are there any secrets that actually work and that you can actually apply to your online business? The answer is yes. There are three home based business marketing secrets that you can keep in mind as you begin this adventure into running your own business - and as you become a success.
Less is More
One of the things that marketing professionals don't tell you is that you really don't need to do as much as you think you do. By simply adopting a strategy of telling as many people as you can, treating each customer with respect, and then repeating this cycle, that's going to bring in a lot of new business. Word of mouth advertising may not get as much press as it once did, but it certainly still works when it comes to smaller home based businesses.
You also want to keep in mind that these marketing secrets don't require a lot of time or a lot of money in order to be effective. Something as simple as adding your website address to your emails is just as effective as running a commercial on TV and a lot less expensive to implement. Think about smaller ways to spread the word instead of bigger ways. Target only the customers that have already shown interest in what you have to sell and you're certain to market for success.

Instead of downplaying the fact that you work from home, make sure that your customers know it. Show them pictures of your office and pictures of yourself to make the experience more personal. This is a marketing strategy that works no matter what you are selling. Since people aren't meeting you in person, the personalization will do the 'talking' for you, making a customer more comfortable with you.
Try adding a blog to your website that will introduce the kind of person you are and what you are capable of helping a customer with. Or you might want to include a video of yourself talking about your product or a personal story that relates to your product. The internet can be such an impersonal place, so try to connect with your customer more.
