Ideally our work space set up and decorated according to the business at home which we run. Our work space can be added to the living room when it is needed. Or can also just contain tables, chairs, computers, and other thing that have relationship to the internet. I do not know which ones would be selected but that should be understood that what we need actually is to make our business is going well
Below are some tips that we can do, so that we can make the space work in accordance with our business at home.
1. Find out what we want. First of all we must determine the condition of how we can work well. Do we only need a small room like in the office? Or do we need a 'coffee maker' placed near us? Such questions must we answer first. Make the first sketch of what we want. Make a list of what we needed for our work run effectively
2. Give extra light. The brighter rooms always better than a dark room. Light gives us energy. The room with a little light on the other hand is more suitable for rest and relaxation.
3. Provide tools for organizing. File cabinets, bookshelves and desk work - it's all the equipment we needed so that the room is not messy and the paper is strewn everywhere. Working on a neat place more comfortable than a messy place. If we intend to get good results then try to work in a neat and organized.
4. Consider comfort. Comfort of course we have to consider because we will spend our time all day to work at home. We must make sure that furniture that we use, are all convenient to use. It is not good when we feel sick or pain and unable to work the next day. It is wise if you invest a little money to buy quality furniture.
5. Create personal boundaries. We prepare the work space at home because we wanted to make the boundaries between our homes and workplaces. Make sure we have privacy in our workspace. This is not just for us but certainly most important to customers who came to see us.
When working at home we will face some difficulties in the early months. But with sufficient attention and with time management, then leaving our jobs now and focus on working at home is a best decision we've had throughout our career.
